Peninsula Worklink strives to build close relationships with current and prospective Greater Peninsula employers. Our Employer Services are far reaching and designed to help you create and maintain competitive advantage by filling human resource needs, participating in the development of employment skill sets for future employees, or requesting customized training program for your company. In addition, you will find a number of resources to help you manage your employee flows or develop the workforce of the future.  We welcome employers to contact our One-Stop Resource Centers for assistance with employee recruitment and retention challenges.


Peninsula Worklink is also a strong proponent of On-the-Job Training programs.  We encourage businesses to establish OJT programs that allow Job Seekers with minimal prior experience and work skills to learn in these entry level positions. We can also assist by displaying your greatest demand positions using our online Hot Job and OJT Display system.

Hot Job & OJT Opportunities   The Hot Opportunities System allows you to submit your high-demand positions and have them displayed on the pages of our site.
 

Recruit Retired Military Personnel   The Military Recruitment System  allows you to displayed your specific knowledge and skills needs on the pages of our site.
 

Downsizing Notification   Business growth is not linear.  Many companies experience significant downturns along the way.  When its necessary to downsize, the Virginia Employment Commission will assist you with handling your displaced workforce.
 

Custom Training Programs   Our One Stop Center Management partners are experts at devising custom training programs that can create or maintain your competitive advantage. 

Participate in Job Fairs and Conferences   The Peninsula Council for Workforce Development sponsors Job Fairs for Peninsula employers.  You can register to participate in our Fairs and Employer Conferences that keep you in touch with our emerging programs.
