Assess Your Capabilities

The Historian, David McCollough, once said, "real success is finding your lifework in the work that you love."  To do that, Career Seekers must focus on developments in their occupation and constantly assess their knowledge and skills.  The Council provides the links on this page to enable Job Seekers to assess their career skills. Once you understand your strengths and weaknesses, we have supplied additional links and resources to let you access education and training resources to shore up your weaknesses.

The Peninsula Council for Workforce Development provides a series of career assessment tools that you may use to determine your aptitudes and skills you bring to the workforce.  In some instances, you may wish to improve your skills and knowledge.  Using these tools will help you find the best career opportunity and prepare for it appropriately.

ISeek Assessment Tools

Iseek is one assessment tool you can use to analyze your aptitude and plan career choices around your strengths. It is sponsored by the State of Minnesota and is free.
